| General: The type 503
lift is mainly intended for adapting the dwelling to the needs of
the disabled, while retaining parts of the existing kitchen. However,
the lift can also be used together with the variable-height worktop
unit 502 for total conversion of the kitchen. |
| Design: An actuator
lowers the cabinet frame in a curved path down towards the worktop
below the cabinet. The frame is secured to a wall frame by means
of four pivot arms. The wall cabinets are secured to the steel frame
and are moved forward and downwards to the front edge of the worktop. |
| Safety: A trip panel
with reversing function is fitted under the cabinets. |

| Dimensions:
69cm high frame intended for 70cm or higher cabinets. The lifts
are available in three widths - 57, 97 and 137cm. Choose the lift
to suit the number of cabinets to be mounted. See table. |

| Connections: Connect
the motor to the 230V supply, rated for a maximum of 1A. Locate
the wall socket above the lift. If lighting is included, one socket
is needed for every light fitting. The lighting is of low voltage
type (240). Connect a plug-in type transformer to the socket and
run a spiral cable from the transformer to the light fitting. |
| Control: Standard:
Push-buttons with 5m cable. Option 1: Manual control
with spiral cable. Option 2: Remote control. |
| Installation: Secure
the wall frame firmly to the wall by means of screws and then make
the electrical connections (all connections of the plug-in type.
Mount the cabinets, secure them in position with screws and screw
them together. Fit the trip panel. Connect to the electrical control.
Check the travel and operation of the trip panels. The cabinet lift
should be mounted so that there is a gap of about 0.5cm in relation
to the adjacent cabinets. |
| All electrical components are
CE marked. |
| Miscellaneous: No extractor
fan can be fitted to the wall cabinet lift. The Extractor fan must
be stationary and must be mounted 50cm above the stove. The spout
of an ordinary sink mixer tap must be turned sideways before the
lift is lowered. |
